For Admission to the semester Diploma courses candidates who have passed/appeared the 10th class examination conducted by BOSE, Odisha or equivalent examination are eligible to appear the Diploma Entrance Test (DET). And DET entrance test rule and admission procedure of the Government of Odisha is followed.

2. Third semester Diploma courses(Lateral admission for eligible branches only) 2 Years +2 Science with PCM /+2 Vocational (2 years course)pass out student in any Engg.Trades /10th Pass with 2 Year ITI Pass Certificate. Lower age 14 Years and Upper age No bar

Outside State Candidates(OS –Domicile):

Any Candidates who does not satisfy any of the criteria for the state domicile will be treated as outside State Candidates(OS).15% seats are reserved for “OS” candidates in 1st Semester of Private Polytechnics only.

Odias Living outside Odia Speaking Tracts(OL –Domicile)
0.5% seats are reserved for odia students living in the outlying odia speaking tracts in 1st Semester /Year only.
